Check out a book called Blatopia on Amazon, the author Lance Jackson talks about The Black Street in details and about the viciousness inflicted on the Black people there.

I have made a complaint about the random hate mail here. Making a documentary about a forgotten part of history is not racist. Fear is the root cause of racism and those who want to silence the historians are terrified of the truth. Learn and keep learning.

the guy is a trouble maker, this has already been on public TV an he has to do it again for some reason, besides this is a way different today than 1921 and James wants to make it the same

It’s a travesty how many Americans don’t understand what happened during the Tulsa Massacre and how many black lives murdered due to racism. It’s a travesty how black history is ignored and erased and all that is taught in school is Rosa Parks and MLK. There needs to be more black history taught as blacks have contributed tremendously to the development of this country. Black Wall Street was a thriving community and was dismantled and people murdered, simply because of skin tone. Simply because whites didn’t want to see descendants of slaves succeeding. Black Wall Street isn’t the only black massacre, I hope many more documentaries bring stories like this to light.. because America needs to wake the hell up and understand that the BS you see on the news about blacks isn’t the whole story about blacks.. any time we have come together to build a community, it’s dismantled, or we’re flat out murdered.

Bunch of racist jackasses; the continent of Africa is still crime infested, corrupt, murderous and hell on Earth. Lebron makes millions because of America. Wedlock? How many NBA radicals have children out of wedlock? Total number of children? Rap, hip hop gangsta culture is gross and crime infested; black on black crime, fatherless homes. Go back to Africa if it’s so bad here; gladly pay reparations if you renounce US Citizenship. Let’s see you make million in Africa.

He may have said it less than elegantly, but it’s not untrue. If I hated the country I lived in as much as some of these privileged celebrities seem to, I’d move. They have the means to do so. They rehash things that occurred tens of decades ago, some longer, as if anyone today had anything to do with those horrible occurrences….to what end? To drum up more division? And no, “awareness” isn’t a good answer. Awareness has done nothing for years on many topics, not just racial issues. How these celebrities approach these topics are just attention grabs for them, to try and take advantage of a climate and act as if they care, they are helping, they matter. They don’t. They are just perpetuating hate.
