“There’s a lot of talk about death and mortality, but the movie to me feels like a celebration of life,” Deutch said. “It’s a beautiful meditation piece on time.”
Director Ry Russo-Young and stars Jennifer Beals, Medalion Rahimi, Elena Kampouris, and Cynthy Wu were also at the Variety Studio, presented by Orville Redenbacher’s, at the Sundance Film Festival, to discuss the adaptation of the YA novel.
