Comic-Con hasn’t lost that loving feeling, because jetted into Hall H to surprise fans with an exclusive look at the “Top Gun” sequel.

Comedian and TV show host, Conan O’Brien introduced the unscheduled guest to the Comic-Con audience: “Prepare to say hello to the biggest movie star you’re going to meet in a long long time.”

Addressing the crowd, “Thirty-four years ago I made a movie here in San Diego. I actually shot across the street.” That movie, of course, is “Top Gun.” He added, “Thirty-four years you guys have been very very patient with me.”

Cruise pumped the crowd up before unveiling the first ever look at the trailer for the film’s sequel “Top Gun: Maverick.” Watch the trailer here.
