Timothee Chalamet says he’s seen “Interstellar” 12 times in theaters because he loved it so much.

The actor, who recently starred in Amazon Studios’ film “Beautiful Boy,” says he attended director Christopher Nolan’s screening of the 2014 film in New York City. At the time, he felt like a bit of a “fraud” among co-stars like Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and John Lithgow. And when Chalamet realized the scene with his monologue only showed Matthew McConaughey’s face, the actor was crestfallen.

“I saw it and I loved it. But then I went home to my dad and I wept for an hour, because I just figured my part was bigger,” Chalamet tells Emma Stone during Variety’s Actors on Actors series. The two reminisced about rejections in their careers, like both not getting roles in Tim Burton films, and how they managed to find their niche in Hollywood.
