Robert Pattinson knows he has a lot to live up to as he prepares to step into his highly anticipated role as Batman in Matt Reeves’ forthcoming Warner Bros. movie.

“It’s crazy shoes to fill,” the 33 year-old actor said. “Batman was really the only superhero I had a connection with when I was growing up. I was obsessed, it made it very very daunting.”

However, the actor, who’s best known for playing the vampire Edward Cullen in the mega-popular “Twilight” franchise, said he can distract himself from any anxiety by focusing on his upcoming Christopher Nolan film, “Tenet.”

“I’ve got something else to be nervous about now,” he said, laughing. “I haven’t got enough anxiety space in my head to really get too anxious about it yet.”
