Power of Women NY: Susan Sarandon Keeps Hope Alive for Ugandan School

Susan Sarandon was honored for her involvement with Hope North, which is dedicated to providing shelter and schooling for children, including orphans and former child soldiers, in Uganda.

“It’s just a cool thing to know you were able to reach and open your world to other people,” Sarandon said about sponsoring a child. “I know some of you could fund the whole school. I won’t be greedy.”
