While the world was celebrating the historic win for the cast of “Parasite” at the SAG Awards, director Bong Joon Ho slyly revealed new details about the “Parasite” limited series spinoff currently in the works at HBO.

“We have talked about the series while drinking at night, but we haven’t gone into detail,” Bong told Variety’s Marc Malkin at the SAG Awards. “All I’ve told them is that there will be many hidden stories that will be revealed about each of these characters.”

Not much is known about the series, but Bong and Adam McKay, director of “The Big Short” and “Vice,” are both in talks to executive produce. The film picked up six Oscar nominations, including ones for best picture and best director, and won the SAG Award for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture, the first foreign film to take home the top prize.

The genre-bending movie follows a poor family who infiltrates the domestic lives of a wealthier family, but things take a dark turn quickly. “Parasite” stars Song Kang Ho, Lee Sun Kyun, Cho Yeo Jeong, Choi Woo Shik, Park So Dam, Lee Jung Eun and Chang Hyae Jin.

When asked why this film has resonated with so many audiences SAG Award winner Lee Jung Eun said, “When we submitted this film for Cannes, we knew that people would pay attention to the story about evil and good and hidden families, but we had no idea it would be this successful in the U.S.”
