“Younger” star Miriam Shor is wearing multiple hats this season — or necklaces, rather, if you’re familiar with her scene-stealing character, Diana Trout, on the TV Land series.
Shor is directing for her second time on “Younger” with her directorial episode airing on the fourth episode of the sixth season.
“I can’t speak to what it’s like to be behind the camera on a different TV show. I can only speak to what it’s like to be behind the camera on ‘Younger,’ and it’s a delight,” Shor told Variety senior correspondent Elizabeth Wagmeister at an interview, alongside her co-stars Charles Michael Davis and Peter Hermann. “It’s incredibly supportive — everybody on the set is rooting for me and for us to always make the show a good show.”
“It’s been so incredible and challenging in the best ways,” Shor added. “I hope that I can show up as a director in the way that these actors and the crew do.”
“You honored the show so much in the way that you showed up,” Hermann said. “She’s an incredible director.”
