Mary J. Blige Says Salma Hayek's Body in 'From Dusk Till Dawn' Inspired Her Workout

Mary J. Blige revealed to Salma Hayek that her body in 1996’s “From Dusk Till Dawn” inspired her to hit the gym during Variety‘s “Actors on Actors,” presented by Google Home.

“I saw you in a movie called ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ — horror movie,” Blige told Hayek. “And it was, like, back in the day. And I was like, ‘Oh my god, this woman’s body is my inspiration.’ You are one of my inspirations for being in the gym everyday. I’ve been training like a maniac trying to get half of what you look like. So thank you for that.”

The seventh season of Variety‘s “Actors on Actors” will air from Jan. 2 to Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. on PBS SoCal KOCE.
