Margot Robbie Says 'Barbie' Movie Is 'a Chance to Be Aspirational for Younger Kids'

Margot Robbie discussed the “positivity” of her upcoming titular role in “Barbie” on the red carpet of “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

“I think it’s a great opportunity to put some positivity out in the world,” she told Variety. “A chance to be aspirational for younger kids.”

Greta Gerwig is set to direct and co-write the film with Noah Baumbach. “Barbie” has a 2020 release date.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” hits theaters July 26.
