Julianne Moore Addresses Gun Violence in Power of Women Speech

Variety Power of Women honoree Julianne Moore spoke at the NYC event about a charity she supports: Everytown for Gun Safety.

“I just couldn’t bear it anymore. I couldn’t bear hearing about senseless gun violence and needless loss of life,” Moore said. She also explained why acting against gun violence is vital for every responsible parent and citizen as well as why she firmly believes this isn’t a partisan issue.
