On the newest episode of Variety‘s “Pick of the Week,” awards editors Marc Malkin and Jenelle Riley take a look at the Golden Globes’ best picture categories for a musical/comedy and drama, and the best director race. They both pick “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” for the musical/comedy field, and they choose “The Irishman” and “Marriage Story” as the top contenders for drama. For best director, they predict Bong Joon Ho (“Parasite”) will take the award, but Martin Scorsese (“The Irishman”) and Quentin Tarantino (“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”) also have strong chances.
