While twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse grew up in the spotlight as the devious duo in Disney’s “The Sweet Life of Zack and Cody,”  Cole says that they’ve grown out of the “kitschy twin thing” that they were known for when they were younger.

“I think it’s a little embarrassing when people do that at my age,” Sprouse told Variety during an interview for the Power of Young Hollywood issue. “Twins reach an age where they either choose to be fully-formed individuals or they choose to become ‘The Shining’ twins, which is really terrifying and I’m just glad my brother and I missed whatever fork in the road that was.”

The “Riverdale” actor also spoke about the toxicity of social media saying, “the internet rewards extremes which is bound to have adverse effects.”
