Marvel stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are debuting their first major film roles since they saved the universe as Captain America and Black Widow in “Avengers: Endgame”; Evans with “Knives Out” and Johansson with “Marriage Story” and “Jojo Rabbit.” In their conversation on Variety Studio: Actors on Actors,” the two talked about “Endgame” becoming the highest-grossing movie of all time and Martin Scorsese saying Marvel films aren’t cinema.
