Chloe Bennet, who stars in DreamWorks’ upcoming animated adventure movie “Abominable,” talked to Variety about the importance of having a kid’s movie that rejects outdated gender roles. “I have six brothers and so I never related to princess movies,” Bennet explained. “When you’re a young girl and all of the content and all of the movies out are saying that you are worth something when you find a man, when you’re told that as a young girl, you think that. And then it effects your choices in life.”
