How Charlize Theron Found Her 'Molly Voice' for 'Long Shot' With Seth Rogen

In one scene in “Long Shot,” Charlize Theron plays the Secretary of State who takes molly and then must negotiate a hostage situation.

“True story, Madeleine Albright did that,” director Jonathan Levine joked at a SXSW panel moderated by Variety‘s Ramin Setoodeh.

“JFK was on meth, so it’s not that far out, honestly,” co-star Seth Rogen added.

Theron joked about her method acting for the role, saying, “I’ve heard it feels good to touch things, so I just kind of went from there.”
