Power of Women honoree Chaka Khan has some ideas for how the music industry can better support women and guard against abuses.

“The best things we can do as artists, is being involved in something like this, or singing about it. Make a statement in your music,” Khan says. “It’s very strong. It’s strong stuff. It is magic, and it has power. It’s a healer. It’s an educator. It’s so many things.”
