We asked Hollywood creators what shows, movies and books made it to the top of their piles from 2018. No surprise that Alfonso Cuaron’s “Roma” was a crowd favorite. “I loved ‘Roma,'” Bradley Cooper said. “I just saw ‘Green Book.’ I loved that. I haven’t seen much but those were great,'” the “A Star is Born” actor and director revealed.

“If Beale Street Could Talk” director Barry Jenkins also chose “Roma” as his year-end favorite.

“To see somebody who can make ‘Gravity’ on such a large scale apply that same aesthetic to a very intimate story. And to a story that’s about his home country, his home life. That’s what cinema should be,” Jenkins said of Cuarón.
