Power of Women honoree Brie Larson revealed how the inclusion rider really helped created a family and a feeling of safety on the set of “Just Mercy.”
“We were telling this important story and that representation didn’t end with them in front of the camera,” Larson said. “It was there behind the camera as well. Not only was it incredibly diverse, but we also had previously incarcerated individuals onset as well. So you felt that there was true representation there.”
