If the SAG Awards weren’t on the same day as the Kansas City Chiefs AFC championship game, you probably would’ve caught Brad Pitt in the stands. The Missouri native was feeling great on the red carpet after the Chiefs beat the Tennessee Titans to advance to the Super Bowl.

“My Chiefs won today. I had to recover after my Saints lost. So I’m feeling a little better,” he told Variety’s Marc Malkin on the red carpet. Pitt also wore a Chiefs hat on the carpet when he arrived.

When asked to give a message to the Super-Bowl bound team, Pitt said “they’re on fire” and didn’t need one.

The Chiefs’ luck must have passed down to the actor because he later took home a SAG award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a supporting role for “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
