Golden Globe nominee Brad Pitt showed some love to one of the overlooked actors at this year’s ceremony: Paul Walter Hauser from Clint Eastwood’s drama “Richard Jewell.”

“I’ll tell you a performance I just loved. I don’t know if he’s out tonight, but Paul Walter Hauser,” Pitt told Variety’s Marc Malkin on the Globes red carpet. “He was just so moving in ‘Richard Jewell.’ The degree of difficulty and what he gave, what he did with it was really surprising to me. I almost teared up.”

The “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star also shouted out to Hauser’s fellow “Richard Jewell” co-stars: “Sammy Rocks and Kathy Bates, they were just amazing,” he said.
