“Pose” star Billy Porter joined Variety Live for a virtual chat on all the projects the actor has been working on after Hollywood shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Since production was halted all across the entertainment industry, Porter revealed he has been using this time to catch up on several projects including, working on a memoir, writing a children’s picture book, finishing a pilot for a series and writing a musical.

“I’m working everyday,” said Porter. “I’m waking up at five in the morning and writing till ten, having meetings and working on my sanity, spending time with my husband and doing all the things I really haven’t had the opportunity to do in the last couple of years.”

The star went on to talk about his upcoming roles in the “Cinderella” remake and Greg Berlanti’s big-screen remake of “Little Shop of Horrors.”
