Director Lisa Langseth and Alicia Vikander stopped by the Variety Studio Presented by AT&T at the Toronto International Film Festival to talk about their new movie, “Euphoria.”
In addition to starring, Vikander also produced the English-language Swedish drama, marking a first for the actress. She talked about why she chose “Euphoria” to try her hand at producing for the first time.
“When Lisa introduced her idea, it just felt like a natural choice to take that step and let this be my first opportunity to produce,” she said. “She already had B-Reel, a Swedish production, on, and then I was able to kind of step in and hopefully help Lisa to get her first film to get to more of an international audience in English language.”
