The cowboy aesthetic gets a major makeover in Beyoncé’s “Ivy Park Rodeo” Collection, which dropped today.
The multi-piece collection, which just launched exclusively on Adidas’s website ahead of its global launch on Aug. 20., mixes athletic streetwear and activewear in 58 adult apparel styles, five adult footwear pieces, 13 different accessories and, for the first time ever, 16 kids’ items. Through dark denim fabrics, washed heavy French terry materials and purple glow cow prints, the anticipated launch reimagines Western wear — in a way that looks a lot more bold, and a lot less white.
One highlight from the collection include a denim bodysuit and wide leg snap pant, that Beyoncé is seen modeling herself in the campaign imagery. Other items include a denim tracksuit, a French terry sweat pant/sweatshirt duo and an embellished bucket hat. Most exciting might be the brand new IVP Super Sleek “Chunky” sneakers, which introduces a new color way and updated silhouette to Adidas’s classic Sambas. Considering the success of Ivy Park x Adidas footwear in past launches, you’ll want to jump on them fast.
The kids’ line makes similar styles accessible for kids, in fun pieces like their purple glow cow print tights and a graphic t-shirt with the words “brought up rodeo” splashed on the front in cursive font.
