During these unprecedented times of social distancing, sometimes laughter is the best medicine. Luckily, Netflix has a library full of comedies to help lift your spirits up and put a smile on your face. Below, Variety has compiled a list of the best comedies now streaming on the platform.

While there are plenty of classics on the streaming service, including ”Back to the Future,” “Groundhog Day” and “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” there are also some newer dramedies that will make you shed a few tears in the best way possible, like “Paddleton” and “Other People.”

Consider checking out “The Edge of Seventeen,” starring Hailee Steinfeld in a heartfelt comedy tinged with some dark humor, or take a look at “Lady Bird” featuring some of the biggest young actors on the rise in Hollywood, like Timothée Chalamet, Saoirse Ronan and Beanie Feldstein.
