Pound for pound and pedal for pedal, no movie character in history has committed more acts of vehicular mayhem than James Bond. With 25 official films in the 007 series, not even modern heavyweights like the “Fast and the Furious” franchise can compete against Ian Fleming’s suave secret agent when it comes to burning rubber and crashing cars. And the majority of the time, Bond’s behind-the-wheel antics have been accomplished without the aid of cartoonish CGI that an increasing number of automotive action movies depend on.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond series and the release of “No Time To Die,” EON Productions and the Ian Fleming Foundation have partnered with the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles for a new exhibition called “Bond in Motion,” which is the largest official Bond vehicle display to date in the United States. Showcasing more than 30 screen-used cars, motorcycles, helicopters, airplanes, and even a few submarines, the show opens to the public on Sept. 25 and will run until October 20, 2022. The massive collection features automobiles from almost every film in the historic franchise, including the following 18 vehicles that are sure to delight longtime Bond fans. Here’s a preview of what you’ll find inside.
