The Best Fashion from the American Music Awards

The American Music Awards are live, and the red carpet is absolutely dripping with fashion risks and rewards. Behold Taylor Swift’s leggy look, Billie Eilish’s chain veil and Billy Porter’s glorious white cape. Post Malone appeared on the carpet in a plaid suit and bolo tie while Dua Lipa threw out a possible tribute to Madonna with a pink number and gorgeous brown roots.

And the hair hotness continued all the way to Camila Cabello’s fantastic side braid to Shawn Mendes’ coiffed locks and subtle Joker nod in a purple and green suit? Maybe? But truly the brightest stars were those who embraced a glowing ensemble from Lil Nas X’s electric green suit with tiger stripes to Lizzo’s stunning tiered tangerine dress.

Several nominees, performers and presenters embraced the train tonight including Shania Twain, Halsey Paula Abdul to Carrie Underwood. While others went straight for the power suit including Tyra Banks, Kelsea Ballerini, Ciara and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Hair and makeup was also on point tonight with special shoutouts to Regina King’s stunning fringe moment to Katherine Langford’s sunset-hued eyelids. Singer Halsey also tried something different and brought a moment of fashion to her brows with blue and pink pops of color. The American Music Awards aired at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
