Noah and Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” were recognized by the Television Academy Honors in 2021 (the first ever for a late-night series) for Noah’s ability to “calmly analyze, skillfully explain and provide crucial commentary on complex social issues including race, equity and social justice.” Under Noah’s watch, the show was nominated for two 2021 NAACP Image Awards and for outstanding variety talk series at the 2021 Emmys. “TDS” is particularly strong on social media, including 1.4 billion views across platforms and 2.5 billion minutes watched on YouTube. Noah also earned high marks for hosting the 2021 Grammy Awards, and his most recent standup special, “Trevor Noah: Afraid of the Dark,” hit Netflix in January.
