Holland broke out as a young Peter Parker in “Captain America: Civil War,” before going big in Sony reboot “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” which grossed $800-plus million, and the webslinger’s “Far from Home” breaking $1 billion. The Brit, awarded the BAFTA Rising Star in 2017, got his start in “Billy Elliot: The Musical” in London’s West End, and became known to Americans in 2012 in “The Impossible.” And the long term is bright, as he’ll re-team with the Russo brothers on their first non-Marvel feature, “Cherry,” head up a Sony franchise based on the “Uncharted” videogames and star in Lionsgate’s tentpole “Chaos Walking,” Disney’s animated elf film “Onward” and, of course, the third in his “Spider-Man” series now that Sony and Marvel are staying in the MCU.
