Epic Records

Chairman / CEO

After decades in the music business, Rhone began chairing Epic Records in 2019, steering a roster that includes Camila Cabello, DJ Khaled, 21 Savage and Meghan Trainor as they all flex their brands. Future’s “Life Is Good” became one of 2020’s top five tracks, while April saw Travis Scott debut at number one on Rolling Stone’s Top 100 Songs with Kid Cudi collaboration “The Scotts.” The track launched via Fortnite’s surreal virtual event Astronomical, attracting 12.3 million live views, and rocketed his 2018 album back to the top 10. Rhone cites him as a 21st-century artist who can keep his music out front with a wide variety of partners, including the hugely popular battle royale game and McDonald’s, without losing his vision.
