FOX News Media

When Scott stepped in as the first woman appointed CEO at Fox News Media, she took over a network still roiling from sexual harassment scandals that led to the ousters of chairman Roger Ailes, top-rated star Bill O’Reilly and Bill Shine, her predecessor. After O’Reilly’s departure, she spearheaded programming shifts boosting Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham while reorganizing corporate leadership and onscreen roles to be more gender-inclusive. Keeping an eye on viewer engagement, Scott ran the launch of standalone streaming service Fox Nation last fall. Through her oversight of Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace earned the network its first Emmy nomination, and FNC is now enjoying its largest primetime viewership in its 23-year history. November also marked 41 straight months of FNC’s dominance as the cable leader in daytime viewership, and 215 months as the top-rated cable news network overall. If that wasn’t enough, 2019 was FNC’s fourth year as the most-watched basic cable network, period.
