Suzanne
Scott

CEO

As the first woman appointed chief executive at Fox News — and the only female atop a major U.S. TV-news operation — Scott takes over a network following the sexual harassment scandals that led to the ousters of chairman Roger Ailes, top-rated star Bill O’Reilly and Bill Shine, her predecessor. By choosing Scott, Rupert Murdoch and son Lachlan made her résumé the key factor: She’s been with Fox since its 1996 founding. After O’Reilly’s departure, she spearheaded programming shifts that boosted Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham, and she deeply supports “Hannity” and “Fox & Friends,” two mainstays on President Trump’s DVR. Her goal is to maintain successful status quo on the outside and ensure a more disciplined atmosphere within.
