Verve has hired TV lit agent Davina Hefflin and talent agent Julian Cohen, Variety has learned exclusively. Hefflin joins the agency from Gersh, while Cohen joins from Management 360.Hefflin started out as an assistant at Gersh before moving up the ranks of the TV lit department. Management 360 cofounder Bymel continues to live up to her reputation for taking a hands-on role with clients, helping shepherd Halle Berry through the process of filming her directorial debut, “Bruised,” for Netflix, in which she also stars as an MMA fighter. Through the company’s affiliated production shingles Television 360 (“Game of Thrones”) and Entertainment 360, Bymel has also produced a slate of TV and film projects, including client Kiefer Sutherland’s Netflix series “Designated Survivor.” On her docket are producing the biopic “Sisters in Law,” starring client Michelle Pfeiffer, about the relationship between Sandra Day O’Connor and the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as well as a limited series adaptation of the novel “Did You Ever Have a Family” for Sony TV.
