When father Vince stepped down from his role as longtime head of WWE in July 2022 before his surprise January announcement that he aims to return as executive chairman, McMahon and co-CEO Nick Khan helped lead WWE to a record $1 billion-plus in revenue in 2021. She previously served as WWE’s chief brand officer, securing partnerships with Netflix, DraftKings, DoorDash, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, Rocket Mortgage and Toyota. In April, she helped bring WrestleMania 38 to record sponsorship revenue of $10 million, a 50% increase year-over-year and 47% increase over the company’s 2020 record. McMahon also played an integral role in the relaunch of WWE’s premium video game console franchise “WWE 2K” and furthered the company’s philanthropic goals through partnerships with UNICEF USA, Make-a-Wish, Special Olympics, GLAAD and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. McMahon ended up stepping down as Co-CEO in January.
