Seth
Meyers

Host

Meyers is putting his years at the “Weekend Update” desk to good use, making “Late Night with Seth Meyers” a show where deft celeb interviews can coexist with engaged political commentary on network TV. In the wake of the #MeToo movement, he has become a vocal supporter of female voices in comedy, both offscreen and on his show, with such segments as “Jokes Seth Can’t Tell.” On the political front, he goes on wisecracking but informative deep dives into the headlines with the incisive recurring feature “A Closer Look.” When not cutting into current events, he can handily host a glitzy awards ceremony — such as the Golden Globes, which he did in 2018 — and he has begun to produce more television with shows including the NBC sitcom “A.P. Bio.”
