Clayton

Partner / Co-Head, Global Music

Clayton spent most of 2021 luring both executives and talent to join WME, but by the end of the year, he was the one being wooed, as UTA announced his move to that agency in November. Early in the year, he was one of the players who convinced Caroline Yim, Zach Iser and Aaron Tannenbaum to move from CAA to WME, the first two mentioned focused on R&B/hip-hop acts, with Tannenbaum honed in on country. The return of live music led Nashville-based Clayton to organize arena and amphitheater tours for Dead & Company, Kings of Leon, Train and My Morning Jacket, while the Zac Brown Band’s swing included its 12th date at Fenway Park, setting a record for the most sellouts at the venue by anyone outside the Red Sox.
