Bond
VP, Gaming Ecosystem
The last console generation saw Xbox One sales completely halved by the PlayStation 4, but that hasn’t stopped Bond from driving Xbox’s success in other areas. Her crowning achievement is the success of Xbox Game Pass, a subscription gaming service boasting 15 million subscribers as of September 2020 (Sony’s PlayStation Now cloud gaming effort has just over 2 million). Ahead of November’s dual Xbox Series X/S launches, she gave the brand a further boost via the Xbox All Access bundle, which combines either new console with the Game Pass Ultimate tier, including access to Xbox Live Gold and EA Play, all available through a 24-month payment plan. Customer consideration is nothing new for Bond, as she’s also spearheaded racial injustice initiatives, working closely with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to develop objectives addressing inequities internally and externally.
