The Weeknd played the Super Bowl, and his “Bright Lights” set the record for most weeks spent on Billboard’s Hot 100, while Doja Cat scooped up five Billboard Music Awards and three Grammy nominations. That’s just two of the acts on Slaiby’s deep roster, as he also manages Bebe Rexha, Swedish House Mafia, Ty Dolla $ign, French Montana, M.I.A. and Metro Boomin. Rexha collaborated on the Martin Garrix single “In the Name of Love,” the second time she’s featured on a billion-streaming track, while Metro gets credit on 21 Savage’s chart-topping album “Savage Mode II.” Beyond his management credentials, Slaiby’s standing as a label exec was fortified in April when he partnered with Universal Music Group and Republic Records to launch Universal Arabic Music, which he leads as CEO.
