With over three decades of experience in film and TV, Sabbah and his brother Ali have transformed CAP into a production powerhouse, with facilities and offices in Beirut, Dubai, Cairo, Casablanca and Riyadh. The company recently sold the format rights to its hugely popular crime series “Al Hayba” to Turkey’s Ay Yapim — the first time an Arabic fiction format has sold beyond the Arab region. This year, CAP produced a feature version of “Al Hayba” that is distributed by its newly launched theatrical distribution label, Arab Motion. The production house has also readied major series including the sci-fi “Hell’s Gate” and the women-empowering “Salon Zahra” for Shahid VIP, the streaming service of Middle East broadcast giant MBC. In March, Sadek was awarded Lebanon’s highest honor, the National Order of the Cedar, by Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
