Campbell
Chairman, International Operations & Direct-to-Consumer
As the person in charge of Disney+ (along with Hulu and ESPN+), Campbell holds one of the most important jobs in show business: running the streaming services for the world’s most iconic entertainment company in an era where streaming is priority No. 1. She was given the job in May 2020 by Disney’s newly-minted CEO Bob Chapek, whom she’d worked under as president of Disneyland Resort when he was chairman of Parks & Resorts. Platforms under Campbell’s purview earned 92 Emmy nominations in 2021, led by Disney+’s “The Mandalorian” and “WandaVision” with 24 and 23, respectively, and Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale” with 21. Campbell’s 24-year Disney career has also included stints as president of its ABC-owned TV stations (2010-2017) and president of The Walt Disney Company—EMEA (2017-2019).
