Cofounder / Chairman

After a thriving career as TV producer through his company Troisième Oeil, Capton partnered with billionaire media entrepreneur Xavier Niel and Matthieu Pigasse, a financier and publishing group president (Les Nouvelles Editions Independentes) to launch Mediawan in 2016. Over the pandemic, his company scored major acquisitions spanning TV and movies, including Lagardere Studios (“The Eddy,” “Who Killed Little Gregory”), and Hugo Sélignac’s Chi-Fou-Mi (“Bac Nord”). Mediawan recently partnered with Germany’s Leonine to form Mediawan Leonine Studios, which acquired a majority stake in British outfit Drama Republic, the company behind “Doctor Foster” and “The Honourable Woman.”
