The sardonically frank English actress-writer-playwright won raves for adapting her play “Fleabag” for an Amazon series, which got high critical praise for its second season and four major Emmy wins. Prior to that, her career hit its stride stateside in 2018 with BBC America’s “Killing Eve,” which earned multiple Emmy noms its first go-around and another nine for its second season. Waller-Bridge is so in-demand, she couldn’t continue writing for the sophomore season, but she served as executive producer and will do so again in its third season while balancing her latest series, HBO’s “Run,” co-writing the upcoming “No Time to Die” Bond film, and also developing TV content through an overall deal with Amazon Studios worth around $20 million a year.
