Bose has been structuring the financing and production of an increasing number of high-end projects for the Danish company he and Jonas Allen co-founded in 2004. On the TV side, seizing on the global embrace of Nordic noir, Miso Film has announced its first collaboration with Scandinavian streaming service Viaplay and Swedish pay-TV channel TV3 on a reboot of hit Miso series “Those Who Kill.” Sci-fi thriller “The Rain,” the company’s first Netflix-commissioned show and the streaming giant’s first Danish-language original, was rapidly renewed for a second season. On the big screen, its “The Way to Mandalay,” a biopic of beloved but troubled 1960s singer, songwriter and pianist John Mogensen, is the biggest Danish hit of 2018.
