Taubman has been the unseen hand guiding telecommunications transactions through his boutique investment bank, PJT Partners, founded in 2015. In 2018, he advised T-Mobile on its $59 billion acquisition of Sprint and Sky Broadcasting on its competing cash offers from 21st Century Fox and Sky. Of late, he advised Lionsgate on its $4.4 billion acquisition of Starz and Cablevision on its $17.7 billion sale to Altice.
