Founder / Chairman / CEO

Some may have doubted Taubman when he left Morgan Stanley in 2015 after 27 years to launch his boutique investment bank, but he has remained a top player in big media transactions, generating $166.7 million in 2019 Q2 alone. In the past year, he worked with European pay TV giant Sky on its $39 billion sale to Comcast and stepped out of his entertainment comfort zone to team with ex-employer Morgan Stanley in an M&A mega-move, co-advising drugmaker AbbVie Inc. on its $63 billion acquisition of Allergan. Taubman has been on his own buying spree as well, last year paying $165 million for fellow advisory firm CamberView Partners and hiring partner Jami Rubin away from Goldman Sachs. PJT is currently working on 17 announced deals worth a reported $148 billion.
