A former ITV Studios exec, Buccieri has a deft handle on domestic and global production, and he’s been leading the company’s mission to own and produce its own content. This past year, he drove a programming shift at History to emphasize the production of high-quality nonfiction miniseries such as “Washington” and “Grant,” the latter of which was the network’s best-performing history miniseries ever by total viewers. Under his watch, Lifetime is recommitting to original movies and this year released the second installment of its “Surviving R. Kelly” docuseries. Buccieri, who first joined A+E Networks in 2015, now oversees A&E, History, Lifetime, Lifetime Movies, FYI, Vice TV, A+E Networks International and A+E’s scripted and unscripted divisions, among other units.
