Head, Video Games

Six years ago, lifelong gamer Lupu moved over from CAA to UTA to help the agency build out its gaming practice. Some of his biggest deals since include helping “Rick and Morty” co-creator Justin Roiland launch a game studio, getting the new studio by “Assassin’s Creed” creator Patrice Désilets on its feet and landing one client a $5M investment from Supercell. Other big names on his roster include Ken Levine (“BioShock” series), Casey Hudson (“Mass Effect” trilogy) and studio Klei Entertainment (“Mark of the Ninja”). Recently, Lupu helped push into social and e-sports markets with the acquisition of agencies Press X and Everyday Influencers, a move that added 12 executives and agents representing nearly 100 e-sports professionals and streaming clients.
