Schusser had a busy year, including the streaming service’s launch of Spatial and Lossless Audio, the former allowing artists and producers to create an immersive experience for the listener, the latter adding higher quality for all 75 million-plus songs in Apple’s library, delivered at various levels of resolution. Both features arrived without raising subscription fees, as was true for new updates Lyrics Sharing and City Charts. Ideal for that enhanced audio quality is classical streaming service Primephonic, which Apple acquired in August. Beats, meanwhile, launched its first wireless headphone, Beats Studio Buds. The Emmy-nominated ad touting that product — featuring track star Sha’Carri Richardson and a Kanye West score — trended  
No. 1 on YouTube and Twitter when it premiered in the NBA Finals’ Game 6.
