Moritz has produced over 60 films, most notably the “Fast and the Furious” franchise, which has grossed upwards of $5.3 billion to date and is scheduled to release its ninth film in May 2021. His first-look signing with Paramount was recently extended through 2023, and on his slate for the studio is a sequel to his $300 million-grossing video-game film adaptation “Sonic the Hedgehog” and the thriller “American Son,” starring Russell Crowe. He also has a sequel to his “Escape Room” for Sony, delayed from 2020 after multiple pandemic-prompted pushbacks. Through his deal with Sony Television, reupped in August 2019, Moritz produces CBS’ “S.W.A.T.,” currently in its fourth season, Amazon’s “The Boys,” as well as the upcoming “I Know What You Did Last Summer” remake, also for Amazon.
