Chairman / CEO
The only woman to head a major label group had proved her worth long before becoming Capitol’s chair, enticing Paul McCartney to return to the label and signing a long-term extension for Halsey. Jubelirer’s dealmaking skills continue to deliver in her new role, as she signed sought-after hip-hop siren Doechii and 12-Grammy-winning R&B hitmaker Babyface, with the latter releasing his first album in eight years. Capitol also signed primary Mumford & Sons songwriter and lead singer Marcus Mumford and extended the contract of platinum artist Niall Horan. Her busy first year in the driver’s seat also saw her fine-tuning the CMG units Astralwerks and Capitol Christian Music Group, while a partnership with SM Entertainment (home of NCT 127 and SuperM) cements Capitol as a serious K-pop player.
