CEO
Porseryd has increased production and expanded the international scope of the century-old SF Studios for several years. The company gained attention for English-language movies with “Borg vs. McEnroe” (2018) and the VFX-heavy thriller “Horizon Line” (2020). It acquired a significant stake in Sweden’s FLX, the company behind Netflix crime drama “Quicksand,” as well as Norway’s Paradox (“The King’s Choice,” “U-July 22”), while signing on to be Sony’s theatrical distribution partner in the Nordics. Other productions on Porseryd’s slate: Director Alain Darborg’s English-language survival thriller “Don’t Move”; Swedish-language projects including thriller “Red Dot” and series “Easy Money” for Netflix; and big-screen drama “The Pact,” about the friendship between Danish author Karen Blixen and poet Thorkild Bjørnvig.
