Michael Paull

The Walt Disney Company

President, Disney Streaming Services

Paull left Amazon to join video-streaming technology company BAMTech — established in 2015 as an offshoot of MLB Advanced, the sports behemoth’s interactive media and internet unit. He was key when Disney upped its minority interest to a majority stake the following August, giving it a $3.75 billion valuation. The company was named Disney Streaming Services, and Paull was tasked with leading the Mouse House’s charge against the world’s Netflixes and Amazons. In April, he spearheaded the launch of ESPN+, the first multi-sport, premium direct-to-consumer subscription video product, and now he’s ready to take on the big boys with the late-2019 debut of Disney’s highly anticipated SVOD service Disney+, hosting an existing catalog and content designed for the platform.
